- How in the world is this a "new" thing, or, as the woman in the report says, "something very specific to this generation"? I remember hugathons happening from the earliest ages, back along with Nancy Reagan's "Just Say No" campaigns and discussions on Care Bears in the schoolyard.

- We were hugging fools back in my school days, which started in the 80s. It's not some "crazy generational thing", it's been around forever
